CHARTER: The committee shall evaluate security and safety issues within the community and shall make recommendations to the Executive Board of the Cobble Creek Homeowner’s Association regarding potential security measures as well as areas of the Cobble Creek Development in need of safety enhancements.
MEMBERSHIP: The initial size of the committee shall be three volunteers plus the board liaison discussed below. Up to two additional members will be added if /when the need arises or as other HOA members express an interest in joining the committee. A Board member shall act as a committee member and liaison between the committee Chairman and the Executive Board.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The committee shall initially evaluate the following:
METHODOLOGY: Regarding security, the committee will interface with HOA members and local law enforcement to gather data and to obtain recommendations regarding specific action. Regarding safety, the committee will identify potential safety issues and will interface with Weststar, HOA members and vendors as appropriate to determine the best and most cost-effective course of action. In cases where identified issues can be solved quickly and with no expense to the HOA, the committee will endeavor to do so. More complex issues that potentially involve a cash expenditure shall be brought to the HOA Board along with the following information:
TERM: The committee serves at the pleasure of the Executive Board who has the authority to adopt, amend or repeal this charter at any time.
CONDUCT OF MEMBERS: Committee members shall perform their duties in a professional, courteous and impartial manner. Each member will act in accordance with the best interests of the entire membership of the Cobble Creek Homeowner’s Association.

- Possible security improvements
- Possible community awareness programs
- Specific locations within the community where there are safety issues
